I guess that's what you feel when you can't even see the light…

My Beautiful FilthMy Beautiful Filth:

We'll start with the rose petals
scattered lavishly across the bed
A symbolic collage of my broken thoughts
like memories crushed and thrown into the winds
they lie where they fall, forever forgotten...

Tacks and nails shall line the floor!
A perfect representation of my painful steps
To walk forward was to suffer
to stand still was to endure
Like the insults thrown at me, like the physical abuse
they drive their way into my skin and remain embedded
Unable to be removed except by force

And now comes the masterpiece, the perfect finishing touch
A wall of words and photographs depicting my sorrows and greivance

Experience is Everything and Nothing
Everything that has happened or will happen was meant to happen;
However nothing was meant to last forever, even if it was intended to.
So live life like you meant to do everything that you did do or intend to do.
And don't worry if you or anyone else doesn't understand why everything happened.
Just be thankful that you lived long enough to experience it all.

Apocalpyse ChildStanding alone amongst ruins of rubble,
Waits a little angel with eyes expressing fear.
She wears a dress of shining so light and clear,
And in her palm she holds her teddy so tight,
Whilst scarlet skies turn black to herald trouble.

Flames fly high over her raven crown without care,
Scorching grim ground beneath her feet.
But this is no angel that any army can defeat,
She'll break bullets with breath of a terrified sound,
And she'll tame those who torment with her stare.

Standing alone amongst wreckage of war,
Sings a little angel with hands howling pain.
She walks in boots of mourning so brash and vain,

I Comfort MyselfWith a warm drink, whispering secrets to my own reflection.

The struggles that plague me, though none may know,

Are only for the ears of my quiet mirror, who smiles

Like ancient scripture. A home he misses so endlessly,

Tirelessly calling out in his dreams at night. It is the last

That remains on his lips, with his finger pressed upon the trigger.

A single heartbeat, as he sights his enemy; A quiet prayer

To rest in peace. Yet soon it fades, as hope is fleeting;

For the little soldier boy, once marching home.

What if I held you like you were made of glass
And out of my dreams you would never pass

I'd like to think you'd know just what love is and was
Because in my arms I'd show how to really love and be loved

My world would be complete
If I could just lay at your feet
And tell you all that you mean to me
Oh how my heart and soul would be so free

I think a love like this would stand a chance
And be more than just a simple little romance
I would take you and hold and never let you go
I would never let this love grow cold if you'd only say so
My heart feels like a fire is waking from a dark cold slumber
And if you touched my chest you would certainly fall under
The spells of my love yes my love that's who you would be

To me

Just say the word and I will be your everything
I'll even take the time to learn what makes your heart truly sing
I'll be your everything if you would swear upon all you hold dear
That you'll never fall out of love with me not once ever you hear
