Oh that. It takes patience. I laid down on the grass and waited for the dragonflies to gather around me. At first there were fifteen dragonflies, but the longer I stayed still in the grass, there was more. After laying still for 10 to 15 minutes there was 100+ dragonflies. By this time I had many I could choose from to shoot.
The number one key to shooting wildlife or any living thing is patience. ... and the second key is timing.
