This was inspired by an actual event,
but it didn't happen to me.
It happened to my Dad a long time ago, and he was just like this title says.
He never missed a day of work in his life, (that's a rare thing these days) and he said lucky me they made me take a day off so I could get this tack out of my foot.
My family said, What? You mean you went to work with a tack still in your foot?
He said no only part of the tack is in my foot now because the other half is up in my heel.
Damn was my Dad stubborn and tough!!!
He did eventually and his foot did heal in time.
It was so long ago, but I remember it vividly like it was just yesterday,
when in-fact it was 30 years ago.
Time flew I suppose, but it still feels like it was just yesterday.
