If someone had told me that I would love and appreciate and look forward to a series of photographs which are all 'just' a droplet of water on glitter... I'd have thought that person was crazy! How could a tiny sphere of water and some colored aluminum flakes have so much to share? Well... now I know better, now I know that somehow goRillA-iNK has a magic power that transforms simple water into worlds of light and color.
Ah thank you very much for being so patient in replying to such an incredible and remarkable comment and compliment. I know what you mean, for if someone would have told me a few years ago or even 1 year and 4 months ago that water droplets would have changed my whole world and in a good and positive way as it has and I would be known called a master of macro photography or having anything to do with photography on the level I do now. I would say that their crazy!! But not today or ever again.
But one day when I get all of the equipment I need and the right collection of professional cameras, well then the same will hopefully be repeated again when I start shooting portraits and conceptual photography on much larger scales and yes my macro will have a chance to improve and be even more then they are right now.
Thank you ... a thousand times thank you my friend.
I've often thought that only "crazy" people really know what's going on... perhaps I should listen to them more often? I'd love to see what you could go with professional level equipment, you're so good with a digital camera with a home-made lens... I can only imagine what you might do with better equipment.
I'd like to see some portrait or conceptual images, especially if they have that same glow and compositional skill!
