I Died...

But lucky for me I woke up and it was all just a bad dream.

...or was it?


I suppose dying in your sleep and then waking up is cliché,
but for me it's not.

I've never dreamed I died and then I woke up before,
this has all just started to happen to me quite recently and it is
kind of freaky to me.

Maybe this is normal for the old falling in your sleep and waking before you
hit the ground and die but I don't have those kind of waking dreams.
I die by the hand of someone else and by force, not by falling to my death
and then waking up in the nick of time before hitting the ground.

For me I die in my sleep and I watch people mourn over my corps or casket
and then I wake up later in another person’s body that's not my own.
I know it's not my own because I find myself looking into a mirror and
discover that the person that I'm looking at isn't me at all and
they don't even resemble me either.
